89 Vanagon. Clean solid van, great vehicle candidate for some of these really awesome, and state of the art upgrades. He uses the van extensively in summer for travelling.

Drivetrain
-Foreign Auto Supply built 1.9 L Zero mile TDI Jetta engine. “Pumpe Duse”. 
-Transmission was rebuilt by Matt Steedle in Atco NJ. Built with taller 4th gear, and straight cut gears. Transmission was fitted with a front Syncro Vanagon style mount with Syncro mounting bushings. 

Rear of Van
-Rear axles rebuilt
-Rear sway bar kit installed using front sway bar from builder in Spain “Sloworks” 
-Rear RadFlo shocks
-Rear springs 2wd by Steve Schwenk
-Rear upper spring risers installed
-Engine compartment, rear firewall insulation kit installed new
-Go Westy one piece steel bumpers installed.
-Burley Motorsports machined new rear wheel bearing housings installed with new bearings. 
-Rear disc brake conversion kit by Small Car Performance.
-Wilwood rear calipers, and brakes
-All new brake lines, and stainless steel brake hoses in rear. 
-Machined rear hubs to accommodate rotors provided by Small Car Performance
-New parking brake cables modified to work with rear disc kit

Front of Van
-New power steering rack
-New tie rod assemblies and tie rod ends
-New front RadFlo shocks, and bushings.
-T-3 HD sway bar with Powerflex bushings
-T-3 front upper control arms with Powerflex bushings
-Front disc brake conversion by Small Car Performance fro Wilwood front brakes
-All new front brake lines, and stainless steel hoses
-New front steering pad joints
-Complete front end bushing replacement with Powerflex bushings
-T-3 upper ball joints lengthened
-Front springs 2wd by Steve Schwenk
-T-3 reinforcing steering rack frame member brackets installed
-New wheels, and tires installed. 
-Powerflex upper spring seats installed
